1. Staffing: What type of personnel do you require? Should you hire full-time or part-time employees? Are benefits provided?
2. Accounting: Do you have someone inhouse that can do basic book -keeping? Will investors require you to hire an experienced book-keeper or accountant?
3. Daily Operations: Do you need someone to run the day-to-day operations of the company? Can the founder(s) do this? What type of reporting structure should be created for employees?

4. Product Readiness: When will your product or service be ready for market? How will you know when your product is ready?
5. Manufacturing: How do you manufacture your products? Do you need specific skill sets related to manufacturing? Are there quality standards and accreditations to follow? Are you going to outsource manufacturing and if so, where and why?
6. Sales and Marketing Strategy: To whom should you sell? Should you license to others, or produce and sell yourselves? What marketing avenues are available for your products or services? How do you raise customer awareness?
7. Human Resources Related: Employee manual, compliance with labor laws, posting requirements, minimum wage standards, exempt vs. non-exempt status, employee issues, termination procedures, employment-at-will considerations. When should you have a HR department?
